Interwoven Echoes
Behind our eyes, a tiny bird named Synne weaves magical tunes. This bird lives in a realm where thoughts, like tendrils of lightning, form a glowing tapestry. The realm is ever-changing, but Synne’s melody remains constant. Every child, nestled in dreams, hears Synne’s song, only to forget upon waking.
Yet, a little girl discovered she hadn’t forgotten; its melody warped by a mischievous Devourer called Hapsis.
Hapsis tampered with the loose threads, inhaling memories and threatening the harmony of the realm. The girl, wearied by the clamour behind her eyes, sought refuge in slumber.
One morning, she awoke with a tap on her window where a small branch laid with a note:
“The power to change lies within
Use this wand to talk to Synne.”
Her eyes closed, transported to the realm behind. There, Hapsis loomed with limbs entangled in a cacophony of doom.
A feeble bird on the ground, touched gently by her, glowed and tripled in size, hurling Hapsis back. Seizing the opportunity, Synne cut through the tendrils, restoring threads to their rightful place in the tapestry.
"Every memory, thought, and experience holds value, woven into the intricate web of your mind, forming the unique tapestry of you."
"What was that?”
"Hapsis is within you, as am I. Focus not only on shadows, or your tapestry will darken. Embrace every emotion, give each its due, and I will sing."
“What’s your name?”
And before she forgot, the bird sang,
“I’m Synne, architect of the realm behind your eyes.”
